Get the Conversation Started

It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to explore their wellness goals with a trained professional. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. Throughout my education, I have been exposed to the most cutting-edge dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help you find the right lifestyle that works best for you.

Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find the changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally expected. We work on what you want to improve, and within the circumstances of your unique situation.
If you are looking for a fresh start in your kitchen, garden or home - it will be my pleasure to support you.

No one diet works for everyone.

I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

Could one conversation change your life?

How many of you grew up with the hard work of tending the family garden?  I did.  I grew up in a small town in rural farm country just outside of Schenectady, NY.  Our home was surrounded by farm land with farmers, including my uncle and now brother growing corn and cows.  My dad, and uncle who lived next door, and most of our neighbors that I recall all had home gardens.  Our garden was large and far from the house, which meant it was also far from the kitchen door.  My job was to help weed the garden, wash the veggies and set up the roadside vegetable stand located at the front of the house.

For years and years, and still today I still have a large row garden located at the far side of our property...and yes, far from the kitchen door.  I first heard about a "no work, no weeds" method of gardening from my BFF.  Well, she got my attention!  I wanted to learn more and bought the book.  I was so drawn in that I enrolled in the course and earned my instructor certification.  I added first one box and then a second right off the edge of my driveway, in full sun and MUCH closer to the house.

It is easy and FUN!  Our daughters, and their friends have jumped right in helping and are learning the system, too.  Now, I help busy mom's save money at the market and feed their families healthier, fresher food by teaching them all about Square Foot Gardening!  Many of you may remember the original book, and the PBS series on TV from years back. This "neat and tidy, efficient" way of gardening was created by Mel Bartholomew.  This year celebrates 40 years of SFG!  #sfg40years
Who would have guessed that I would even have the opportunity to MEET him, and I did!!!
